For the packaging,
I made a box in the wood station Together with the tutor we cut the rest pieces of pine wood by size 161x161x116 and making 45 degree angle cuts to make the box look seamless.also she made a slot of 3mm. en then I assemebled the box with woodglue and hold it with tape

At the digital lab station I engraved an 3mm perspex sheet with my own design.
After 4 samples went wrong I had no 3mm perspex anymore an had to use the 4mm sheet the fifth one came out great but was thicker than the slot. especially made in the wooden box. The tutor removed material at the sides of the perpex so it could fit and slide properly in the slot.
Packaging & ceramic cast object
I did not had an object with me so I made my own clay object and casted a mold. It was my first time making an mold and casting.

I made a mistake by waiting to long and the plaster changed quickly in a pudding-like consistency. I couldn't pour it any more nd had to scoop it by hand. This resulted in my mold having a lot of air bubbles and not being smooth.

if I knew we had to make an box for our object I would had made my mold square so it was easier to work with. the object is still in process and is going to be baked at 960 degrees celcius aka biscuit.
the tree shoes are made out of :rubberfoam, soft foam, fabric and polyfoam.

The rubber foam was very challenging to work with since the density is very hard and bouncy i managed with a lot of patience to get it done like i wanted. I also glued details from the original on it to make it match more.

The softfoam I had to put 3 blocks together to create one shoe and hot glue them like the rubberfoam I measured everything out and fortunately this material is very nice to work with if you know how to soften edged i used a spoon and to cut out shapes I used a precision knive.

for the fabric polyfoam shoe I drawed the shapes on the fabric and pinned them down with the the hard part was makeing this shoe 3d because I have no experience with makeing pillows or seing whatsoever. but i got the help from my mom. although it wasn't how i had the design in mind it was very fun to do.
